its movement is normal. just like any other arowanas.

i was just lucky that time. i told the LFS to help me look for a HBRTG. but the boss cant get any from the farm as all of them are to be exported. end up the boss saw this piece (which was supposed to be exported to japan) n he lied to the farm that he wanted to keep it himself. so i was just lucky to be able to purchase this arowana thanks to the kind boss who put in so much effort to get it for me.

heard for quite some time that over in the US the ban of asian arowanas is going to be lifted. hope that it already happen or is going to happen soon. wink.gif
CLOT

Nice update on your RAG. Hehehe.... I think PT. Mujul Prima Utama is selling some fuse fins SR. I saw some pics on Indo Dragon 4 with the the doral, caudal and anal fins are fuse together.

ya. very nice reds. mine just ate a almost 2" yellow parrot on sat. i got 3 pieces and when i on my light at night i only found 2 of them hiding among the wood. then i saw my RAG's mouth moving and saw the tail in the mouth. already moved the other 2 pieces into another tank.

I wanted to say the same thing, very well taken care of. The compact fins are not throwing off the overall look of the dragon as its body is just nice and thick. It shows it's been well fed and and well taken care off. Good job again.

As for US lifting the ban on dragons laughbounce.gif ...not sure it will happen.

thanks.

i'm sure that day will come. in recent years more new farms are (some specialise in other fishes also started) breeding arowanas in singapore.

US is mostly about the dangers of releasing them into the wild, not as much as the Asian dragons being an endangered specie. I mean, in Canada as well we have to deal with CITES (Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species) but besides being a little hassle in completing and getting the forms the dragons are definitely available and at good prices.

I am associated with one group of hobbyists that pioneered the imports of dragons into Canada (www.draagonfish.ca) and I have to say the quality that I've seen over the years is impressive. Not to mention that the farms back in SE Asia are just doing an amazing job and pretty soon we'll have "Discus" varieties exploding in the dragon population as well. Those breeders there are just sick, they make impossible things happen and I definitely thank them for that laughbounce.gif

the same applies to many animals as pets here. the only reptile we can keep as pets here are malayan box turtle, red eared sliders and fly river turtle (before they got listed under CITES II). the only amphibian that we can keep is white's tree frog. if everyone is responsible to take good care of their pets all these bans are not necessary at all.

Any clue of what grade it is supposed to be?

I don't think RTGs are graded. Only SRs and Xbacks.
Cesarnite
