my lfs is selling a yellow tail cross back aro he says its a cross between a jar and asian aro. is this true?

Never heard of a jar crosses with asian. You can hardly breed asian aro in captivity let alone cross it with a jar that is very aggresive. Can you take some pics?

That's a blue base xback. I've seen that one many times. That one that I want to see is the so called hybrid asian aro x jardini.

asian + jar? how many rows of scales that aro have? are the scales big like asian's or small like jar? usually yellow tail refers to G2 red which is a cross breed of G1 red and green which have yellow tail. both species will cross (meaning the scales will reach 6th level shine). the only asian aro that do not cross is Red Tail Gold which have a dark top.
