asian green lost barbel

my new asian green had damaged a barbel, just wondering will this grow back?

I'm no expert on aros (i just got a green asian myself).
But, i'd be pretty skeptical about it growing back

I have had aro's with some barbel damage and they have grown back fine. having said that i've seen a few big guys with no barbels at all, which would lead me to believe that the barbels will not regenerate if they are completely removed/damaged right down the the tip of the jaw.
