Although I already paid for an Australian arowana from Jon, he's not going to delievery it until July 18th, so I think there's time for me to gather so info.

Basically, I know all the carings and all that stuff (after you keep so many fish, it's all the same thing). rolleyes.gif

The question here is (as the title implies) hows their aggression level in general?

I'm getting mixed experiences which I'm thinking of buying something else instead of risking my other fishes getting beat up.

So share what you think (wether i should get it or not) and the A.A.A.

Thanks.

Depense on what fishes you want to keep it with...
If some large cichild then it should be fine....
Just don't let it be the biggest fish in the tank....

i heard from many people that they get aggressive when older toward other fish that they have lived with or even just entered the tank but it cant be all of them that are like that.
my asian aro is a twat and goes for everything just to show whos boss and they are supposed to be less aggressive than jars so try it and see it may be down to luck.

i think i'll just take it. biggrin.gif if it doesn't get along, I'm sure there's somewhere to put the bastard.

someone correct the spelling please, "aggression".

here's another suggestion: when we edit our threads, we can change our titles too. biggrin.gif

Just don't plan on getting any more rays. Mine tried to kill my motoro on the first day. It's probably going to beat on everything in the tank including the tig and juruenses. It's also gonna outgrow that tank quick.

Watch the Tigrinus...

Our Jar is kept with 3 other fish, a 15" Royal Knife that spends 90% of it's time in a tube, a Synodontis that does a good job of hiding, and a Pacu that looks like hamburger. Everything else has been either killed, or pretty damn near it.
