Address: 5900 STADIUM DR - Located in the strip mall next to K-Mart on Stadium Drive near the corner of Drake Rd and Stadium Dr.

Map: Click Here

Phone Number: (269) 372-9490

Employees: As with most places, some employees are better than others. There seem to be several employees there that have a good amount of knowledge, and seem to offer fairly sound advice. So far all employees I have encountered have been friendly.

Fish Selection: Wide overall selection. Best selection of CA/SA cichlids in Kalamazoo I have found so far, but thats not really saying much. Several African cichlids as well. They also seem to have a decent saltwater selection. Prices on fish seem to be very reasonable for the most part. I picked up Salvinis for $2.49 each, and a Green Terror for $2.99. They usually have several buy one get one free specials on barbs/danios/etc. They often have ghost shrimp available at 5/$1.

Tank Conditions: Tanks are generally clean, but often overcrowded. Not many large tank spaces available. If you are looking for pristine specimens, look elsewhere. My two salvinis came from a tank in which they were with ~15 nicaraguenses. Needless to say, there wasnt a single fish in the tank without split/missing fins, and there were several with missing eyes, missing scales, or other wounds. There are sometimes dead fish in some of the tanks.

Dry Goods: As with most LFS, dry good prices can be high, especially on filters/heaters/etc.

Other: Ive been told by a few different employees there, they get their fish shipments on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are looking for something specific, you may want to call on one of those days.
