I woke up this morning to see one of my tinfoil barbs beat up pretty bad, missin scales and a little bite out of his head. I watched them for a bit to find the culprit and I saw my aro curl his tail up and slap a tin like it was a dude with a wet towel. I had no idea aros could whip other fish with thier tail. I also saw him try to snap at the other one, so I moved them into my pacu tank. I think it was getting pissed off cause the tinfoils were trying to shoal with it, they always swam under and on top of him cause hes big and silver.

What type of Aro is it? I've noticed that mine will go after anything they can remotely consider to be food, even if it's not bite-sized.

Our 17" Silver chases around a 10" Mylassoma duriventre quite a bit but has never done much damage because the Mylassoma is quick and thick. I think it might have something to do with other silver fish, maybe, because it seems to be only things that are of a similar color.

I think that might be it because the tinfoils suck tight to the aro like its big brother, and the poor guys are missing like 40 scales each now! Now the aros just moody, since I took them out he hangs out at the bottom of the tank all grumpy
