I have a Black Aro in the works coming in the next few days and am going to attempt putting it in with my current Silver. I've heard of it being done before but know the risks. Fingers Crossed! I'll update as everything progresses in my other thread. Anyone have any thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

I've done it and mine have no problem. How big is the tank you're putting them anyway?

29 gallon...j/k

For now they will be in a 120 (4x2x2) with both of them being around 8". Not all of the fish in my sig are in the same tank, with a future upgrade of a 6x3x3.

Don't mix them yet while they are small in a 29g tank. They will likely fight each other for space and might broke their barbel during the fight. Small aros are more feisty than adults except for jars.

I think he meant the 29 as a joke.

He states that for now, they will be in a 120 4x2x2.

I am interested in Animated Visual Culture, Food, and Animals.

Future tank ideas (Will pursue after college and some work training):

Underwater Dragons of Legend
South American Biotope
Southeast Asian Biotope
AOC Monster Tank

With proper spacing, it would be possible to make a permanent setup for them.

6 would do better than 2. That's spreads decreases the aggression and spreads what's left around to the 6 of them. Two may work. Just keep a close eye on them for the first few hours...
