i have a 90 g purchase planned and a 46 that needs driftwood...
i have enough wood for about 8 more tanks....lol

cow itch grows along streams and rivers, thick stems covered with fine little hairs ,the hairs have some kind of sappy stuff on the tips (from what i was told) and little white flowers... brush against it and first you itch a little...then intense burning and itching...the only relief really (for a bad case) is standing in fast running water...
mine isn't so bad that i can't stand it,but the itch and burn are kinda intense atm...and looks like i have a disease..lol

just because 1/4 of my garage roof is covered with driftwood atm...pfft.
i needed someplace with full sun to dry it!
then i got bleach and scrub then soak it in fresh water and then it should b safe biggrin.gif

Did you just move into that place, like few days ago? I simply can't imagine that it would take anyone more than a couple of days to declare you insane and menace to society. So don't blame it on the driftwood devil-smiley-019.gif

Make sure you soak if for atleast a month. The longer the better but atleast a month. A month should make it safe for the tank but it will still leach stuff so watch your ph level.
