at least some links may be a good idea, we'll have to scrutinize them quite a bit IMO before we put them up...especially since i think the members would expect to learn/find the info they need from this site and not necessarily frequently be referred to other sites. i think providing the info here is key, but listing a reference site along with it, perhaps with more info or whatever would be useful. obviously fishbase.org would be a good one to go into a link section (even though they arent always the best with info either tongue.gif just depends on the fish!)

I thought about a link place before but changed my mind basicly because of what
Solomon just said it does kind of defeat our purpose if we send them elsewhere, when we as specialists are supposed to know this stuff already*-Anne

just my nickels worth we now return you to our regular program.

Im thinking more in terms of where to buy products and such......but I see your point, if we send them elsewhere when they get here, the thing becomes self defeating. I suppose its also true that if you have all the info handed to you, you will never learn/retain knowledge. Ive learned lots by doing my own research. thanks guys!

See i have no probs with links to retail sites like big Als and such, or places to buy stuff not sold by our sponsors the prob is keeping the links limited to such places .
Wouldn't want links sending people for info that we cover here so I guess we could do a link place with links submitted and approved then added that sounds ok -Anne unsure.gif
