I took the day off to put about 8 ton of topsoil in our yard. It was hot...couldn't get the bobcat in the back without taking down my privacy fence, so I moved it by hand all day.

That's not the bad part. Ethan, our 2 year old decided to help dad with the dirt. An hour into helping, he fell and cut the back of his head on a board. It was really bad. Scared us to death. We rushed him to the hospital. One staple took care of the gash.

He's sound asleep now, Monica and I are wide awake, reliving the whole thing. Nothing like that has ever happened. Hope it doesn't happen again, cause I couldn't take it. mellow.gif

hate to say it, but get used to it. Growing boys = accidents. I'm one of three brothers and we all spent plenty of time getting stitched back together. My son is 3 and a complete daredevil, so I'm in the same boat as you. Fun, eh?

I feel for you guys! I also have a two year old and she has NO fear. I'm dreading the day that she lands the wrong way or on the wrong thing like Ethan just did. Good to hear that he's ok though.
Fishless after my move to NC. :-(
