Well in case you dont know, I race pro motocross. Well I was practicing on Thursday afternoon. Went out on the track and got right behind another fast rider. I was riding super fast and really smooth (thats really important, its really enduring and the smoother you feel the longer you can go 100%). After about 4 or 5 laps I came through a rythem section and was trying to pass the other rider, so I over jumped a little bit and the front wheel landed into the face of the next jump and there was a hole there as well, so as I came off the next jump the bike did a front flip. I went into the ground head first. I put my right hand out to break the fall instinctively. Well it appears to be broken now. I also had a minor concusion, bruised ribs (the bars went into my chest and knocked the wind out of me too), and I messed my left shoulder up bad as well maybe even dislocated.

Im headed to the Dr office Monday morning for xrays and to be checked out. I am super bummed because a really big race is coming up on Thurs that I was looking forward too. If the wrist is broken the cast will come off just in time to go back to college (Oh BOY!) I am also getting a new practice track built this week or next and wanted to be able to ride on it. Talk about being pissed off.............

Take it easy on the injuries, don't rush back too soon. There will be more races.

Hang in there. I'd tell you to keep two down but in motocross that doesn't work too well!

yeah Im not gonna rush back into it. It takes a good while to build up the arm strength again. The main important muscles for motocross is the forearms, and your shoulders, and hips

Thanks for the support! biggrin.gif
