Scientific Name: Botia macracanthus

Common Name: Clown Loach

Maximum Size: 12-16 inches, sometimes larger.

Mimum Tank Size: 75 gallon

Ph: 6.5-7.2

Temperature: 73-80 degrees Farenheit

Diet: Eats snails, pellets, bloodworms, prawns and anything high in protein. They can also be fed peeled peas.

Aggression: Peaceful fish. Can be kept in community aquariums.

Reproduction: There have been reports of breeding, but there is no information on how to get them to breed or raise the fry.

Notes: They do better in groups. They also love soft water and need to have good water quality. Do not be alarmed if you find them laying on their sides, they are just resting. They also love to have plenty of hiding places and they need some swimming space.
