They do have one hell of a selection, thats for sure. But the prices, I understand its a buisness, but man 200.00 for a 2 inch Piraya, Highway robbery..... And just a warning to the consumer, Their sales staff have no knowledge of what they are selling... Cant answer simple questions and will sell the noobie the world if they can.... Buyer beware....
Beblonde , This is no flame torwards you or the buisness you may do with this shop.

Living sea gets some fish in that I don't see anywhere else in Chicagoland. Their selection sometimes rivals what you can find online. However, to say they are expensive is a HUGE understatement. I walked through there a week or so ago with my girlfriend. I kept pointing in shock..."look at how much they are charging for that!!!". I saw a 3.5" retic stingray for $100!! Yikes!!

their prices are outrageous. once in a long while, they'll sell a fish or two that they need to get rid of for cheap ohmy.gif but i do have to admit, they do get in some really nice fishes and their tanks are well taken cared of. only person i would talk to when i go there is Art, he's the one that brings in the predatory fishes wub.gif along with other oddballs

$100 3" Retic at Living sea. Tail was chewed up to the stinger & disc had bites around the edges. Very prominent hip bones.

Porcuipine puffer in a pond....really cool.

They also had a salt water pond full of saltwater rays. It was really cool, but difficult to take pics of.
